TP Mazembe's CAF Confed Cup triumph, 2018 WC qualifiers [Football Planet]

Congolese team TP Mazembe were on Sunday crowned continental champions for the seventh time. They beat Algerian side Mouloudia Olympique de Bejaia, 4-1 at home in Lubumbashi to win the CAF Confederations Cup.

There’s a lot at stake for non-performing African teams hoping to secure a slot in the 2018 World Cup as teams get ready to play the second round of qualifiers next weekend.
